Kleem: 3 Prime Deities and their Significance
The Kleem mantra is fundamentally the root aspect of Krishna tattva, representing Shri Krishna Bhagwan in His all-attractive form as the Lord of cupid. It is popular as the Kama Beeja for invoking Lord Kamadeva.
Kleem represents magnetism, the pull or capacity to absorb attention. This beeja mantra also represents Devi Kali, in Her Satvika form.
Here many seekers feel that Kreem represents Devi Kali and they are right. But the Kleem mantra represents a more benign and compassionate form of Ma Kali. This special form of Ma Kali was conceived by the great sage Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa where She is full of motherly affection and full of Rasa unlike Her fierce “Kreem” form.
The “Kleem” form of Devi Kali is also called Krishna Kali. Both the deity of charm, Sri Krishna and the deity of Time, Kali Devi reside in the mantra.
The Kleem mantra can attract the Supreme Being toward you who lies beyond the realm of time and space.
Does Kleem Mantra Require Initiation

At YantraChants.com we advise individuals to chant Beeja mantras such as “Kleem” only after initiation from an authorized Guru. This has a deep reason.
If we get influenced by reading the benefits and chant beeja mantras randomly, success is not guaranteed. The role of a guru is often underestimated in matters of mantra sadhana. People feel: “It is just a mantra. Why do I need initiation? I can just chant it and reap the benefits.”
But, spirituality is not a self-guided journey. By chanting the mantra, the person tries to achieve outcomes using his own knowledge and capabilities.
Know that the human mind works in an autopilot mode. People are like actors who are accustomed to following a prefixed script of responding to life. They think, feel and react in predictable ways. To change the course of one’s life, we need a director and that director is the guru. He changes the script of life for us. Without the guru, spiritual attainment is impossible. We could keep going around in circles mistaking the loop for progress.

Since Kleem mantra is desire energy, repeated chanting can uncover repressed sexual desires and fears from the unconscious depths of the mind. This can mentally disturb the disciple especially if he/she doesn’t have a guru’s comforting and guiding presence.
So, how can a non-initiated person avail the benefits of the Kleem Mantra, if chanting is not possible? For such seekers, the same Kleem Mantra can be approached in a safer and effective way through Worshipping or Meditating on the Kleem Kamadeva Yantra.
Role of the Kleem Kamadeva Yantra
A capable guru empowers a yantra with mantra shakti for non-initiated seekers. The process of worshipping an energized Yantra enables even uninitiated sadhakas to reap the manifold blessings of the powerful Kleem mantra in a safe and guided way.

How Does Kleem Beeja Work

Lets scientifically study how Beeja mantras such as Kleem work. Why do Shastras call it the manifestation Mantra?
The Chitta, the source of pure Consciousness, lies deep within all living beings. However human species alone are capable of tapping this reservoir.
Consciousness has the power to manifest any outcome. But most people’s consciousness is clouded by fears and worldly desires. This kind of muddled consciousness cannot manifest any tangible result. To manifest or build a building, the pavement should first be free of clutter.
When we chant the Kleem Beeja with selfless intent, we are trying to pierce through the core of consciousness to manifest a certain outcome. However the success rate depends on several factors like Guru, Dharma and Scriptural alignment.

Furthermore, the humility of the disciple and his obedience to the Guru shorten the time and distance it takes to achieve the outcome. The mood of service (seva bhav) makes it much easier to awaken the ocean of consciousness, lying far beyond the 3 states of waking, dreaming and deep state.
Unlike the western popular culture, this mantra does not produce cars or houses. It doesn’t promote quick baits like wealth, property, name and fame.
Non-time tested methods like Creative Visualization completely discount the components of Grace and Karma, making them spiritually unreliable and more of a dopamine fallacy.
The Kleem mantra, on the other hand, only manifests outcomes that eventually lead to one’s self-development and inner growth. It produces only those outcomes and resources that are spiritually beneficial for the individual.
Quite notably, the mantra helps with stress and depression, awakening dormant inner capabilities. It also gives a magnetic charm to the chanter’s aura.
Essentially, the Kleem Mantra Manifestation supports one’s need for balanced spiritual, mental and physical well-being.
Scientific Evidence: The Power of Mantra Chanting
These scientific references prove how mantra chanting bridges the three parallel worlds of Vijnaya (Science), Mantra and Grace of Guru (Guru Kripa)
A comprehensive 2023 study (PMC9688188) has analyzed the psychological effects of chanting where it says:
Strong intentional chanting directly alters the states of consciousness. Also Guru-Guided disciples give better or manifold times results than seekers who are chanting on their own, without guidance.
This is extensively detailed in systematic reviews on brain-to-brain synchrony in BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) research. PMCID: PMC9245014
Decoding the Kleem Mantra
Let us deconstruct the root syllables of the Kleem mantra to understand its vast potential and what it is capable of.
The syllable “Ka” (क)

This represents the principle Mantra devata namely Sri Krishna or Kamadeva, depending on your purpose and intent. The Mantra devata represents the attractive or magnetic quality. The two greatest attractions of the world namely kanchan (gold) and kamini (beautiful woman) also begin with the syllable ‘ka’. This syllable is the root cause of manifestation also known as Kama.
It also represents the water element having its origin in the Swadhisthana Chakra or the creative center from which ideas emanate.
The “La” (ल) syllable

It represents Indra Deva or the senses. The inclusion of this syllable is crucial to experience the material world. Through the senses we perceive and enjoy the world of material objects and luxury, bringing us closer to the world of matter, or the earth element.
The La syllable resides in the Muladhara or root Chakra.
The “E” (ई ) syllable

Srimati Radha Rani (the Hladini Shakti or Bliss giving Potency of Sri Krishna) is represented by this syllable. It is the causal or intent body of the mantra. Composed of the Moon element, the syllable resides in the Ajna Chakra, activating the grounding (ल) and attractive potency (क) of the mantra.
The Last syllable M (म्)
Known as the Anusvara, it is the culmination of Time or Kala. It represents the Supreme. In almost all traditions, this is the zone beyond time and space denoted by the transcendental center called Sahasrara Chakra.
That is also a reason why the Sahasrara Chakra lies beyond the gross body. In the Shakta tradition, the deity controlling this aspect is Kali Devi. In the Vaishnava traditions it is Maha Vishnu or Sri Rama. And, in the Shaiva Traditions it is either Shiva or Shiva Shakti.

The Kleem mantra is amply described in Vaishnava Agama Scriptures such as the Varada Tantra, the Gautamiya Tantra, and the Sanat Kumara Samhita.
The Hari-bhakti-vilāsa (Vilāsa 1, Texts 170–171) states:
tathā ca gautamīya-tantre —
klīṁ-kārād asṛjad viśvam
iti prāha śruteḥ śiraḥ
la-kārāt pṛthivī jātā
ka-kārāj jala-sambhavaḥī-kārād vahnir utpanno
nādād vāyur ajāyata
bindor ākāśa-sambhūtir
iti bhūtātmako manuḥTranslation: “And it is stated in the Gautamīya Tantra:
The head of the Vedas declare that the Lord created the universe from the syllable klīm. Earth was born from the letter l. Water sprung from the letter k. Fire was generated from the letter ī. Air came from the nāda (the nasal sound m), and Ether (space) was produced from the bindu (the dot). Therefore, this mantra is composed of the five elements.”
Benefits of Chanting Kleem Mantra

Initiated people have reported magnificent benefits of chanting the Kleem mantra. They are:
1. Bringing Harmony in Relationships
The Kleem mantra is like a Kalpavriksha (or a desire-fulfilling tree). Chanting it after due initiation and proper intention is seen to enhance love in relationships. It attracts like-minded people together.
2. Better Business Opportunities
The Kleem mantra also attracts Business opportunities. Normally recommended by Tantrika Teachers, the mantra is said to attract favourable people and events.
3. Healing Unresolved Emotions

Regular chanting of Kleem Mantra helps deal with marital trust issues. It helps resolve deep-seated insecurities related to intimacy. It makes a person more sensitive towards the spouse. The mantra also awakens a magnetic charm.
4. Psychic and Environmental Protection
The Kleem sound is trusted by the Agamas to create a highly positive shield against negativity, and hostile energies. Thus the Mantra, when recited even mentally, purifies the space.
5. Sri Krishna Bhakti with Nishkama Bhava
In all incarnations, the Lord undoubtedly fulfills the desires of His devotees. Sakam Bhakti (Bhakti for personal gains) is not disregarded. But, its experience is not as fulfilling as compared to Nishakama Bhakti. We may question how so?
Just as a master fulfils the needs of his assistant only when asked, the Lord fulfils a person’s desires only when pleased. But, Nishkama Bhakti is of a different nature altogether. It is akin to the spontaneous affection of a father towards his child. A loving father does not wait for the child to ask for something. He understands and provides naturally.
In the same way, Sri Krishna reciprocates only with love for his devotees who seek nothing but Him. He grants all the necessities and maintains the devotee far beyond expectations. This is the beauty of Nishkama Bhakti.
The seeker must chant the Kleem mantra with Nishkama Bhava (selfless mood) to attain the love of Sri Krishna. Following the instructions of a genuine Vaishnava Guru becomes essential to remain steadfast and devoted. One should not seek anything from Lord Krishna. Surrender all desires at His lotus feet. Only when this state is attained can we experience the promise made by the Lord.

Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 9 Verse 22
अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जना: पर्युपासते |

teṣhāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ yoga-kṣhemaṁ vahāmyahamOn the battlefield of Kurukshetra the Lord says: “Those who always worship Me with pure devotion and meditate on My transcendental form I carry their full responsibility. I fill what they lack and preserve what they possess.
